Job summary

Heritage Auctions, the world’s largest collectibles auctioneer, is seeking an entry-level position focused on presenting consignments for auctions. Responsibilities include sorting, cleaning, tagging, and data entry; heavy lifting of antique items; and assisting with client pickups after auctions.

The role requires proficiency in Outlook and Excel, an eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and an onsite gym.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience.
• Interest in Fine arts preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pre-auction tasks: Enter item information into the computer system accurately; Ensure all items are imaged on time; Prepare (sort, clean, and label) items for auction; Must be comfortable with day-to-day heavy lifting of antique furniture.
• Post-auction tasks: Prepare orders for shipping; Ship orders immediately after auctions; Process and forward items remaining onsite until payments are received; Inform supervisors of discrepancies or issues.
