Job summary

Heritage Auctions, based in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an Auction Operations Assistant. This entry-level role focuses on presenting consignments, including sorting, imaging, cleaning, labeling, data entry, and some heavy lifting.

You will perform pre- and post-auction tasks such as data entry, imaging, shipping preparation, and coordination with the team. Proficiency in Outlook and Excel, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of paper money.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enter item information into the computer system accurately.
• Ensure all items are imaged promptly.
• Prepare (sort, clean, and label) items for auction.
• Must be comfortable with day-to-day heavy lifting.
• Prepare orders for shipping in compliance with procedures.
• Ship orders immediately after auctions.
• Process and forward items remaining onsite until payments are received.
• Inform supervisors of any discrepancies or issues.
• Other duties may be assigned.
