Job summary

NuVasive Clinical Services, a division of Globus Medical, is seeking an entry-level Neuromonitoring Specialist/Associate Neurophysiologist to provide intraoperative monitoring in the operating room, under the supervision of top surgeons. Training, ongoing education, and career development opportunities are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and no previous professional experience expected for entry level
• Must be CNIM eligible via ABRET pathways (Bachelor's, R EEG T or R EPT, or graduate of a CAAHEP/NIM IOM program)
• Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and/or anatomy & physiology preferred
• Operating Room experience preferred
• Strong time management & organizational skills; ability to handle changing schedules
• Effective English communication with surgeons and staff; team collaboration
• Ability to travel up to 25% and maintain hospital privileges and CNIM status

Responsibilities

• Obtain a detailed medical history and consult with the surgeon regarding patient structures at risk
• Communicate monitoring information to the surgeon and team throughout the case
• Display and label waveforms; measure latencies, amplitudes and conduction times
• Identify protocols and troubleshoot to ensure accurate data collection
• Complete documentation and prepare IOM logs and uploads
• Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and perform maintenance checks
• Adhere to codes and company policies; operate professionally
• Travel as required and support ongoing training and development
