Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Massachusetts is seeking an entry-level engineer to support our Mitsubishi Electric automation business. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, controls, automation, mechatronics, or related field or equivalent experience.
0–2 years in industrial automation or related field; internships/co-ops count.
Basic PLC programming concepts and ladder logic understanding.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Clear communication with customers and colleagues in person, by phone, email, and video.

Responsibilities

Mitsubishi Automation Specialist (approx. 60%): assist with product selection, quotations for panels and services, provide first-line technical support, help with demonstrations and training materials, stay current on Mitsubishi products and resources, contribute to internal documentation.
Controls Engineer (approx. 40%): program, configure, test and debug Mitsubishi PLCs and GOT HMIs; develop electrical schematics, BOMs, panel layouts; assist with panel design; support FAT, startup, and commissioning; provide project status updates.
