Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, controls, automation, mechatronics, or related field.
• 0-2 years in industrial automation or related field; internships count.
• Basic PLC programming concepts (ladder logic).
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Clear communication with customers and colleagues in person, by phone, email, and video call.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Support Mitsubishi Automation Specialist duties including product selection and training.
• Assist with quotations for control panels, cable assemblies, turnkey systems, and programming services.
• Provide first-line technical support to colleagues and customers, escalating complex issues to senior engineers.
• Help prepare product demonstrations, customer education sessions, and training materials.
• Stay current on Mitsubishi Electric products, software releases, and training resources.
• Contribute to internal documentation, standards, and best practices for Mitsubishi platforms.
• Program, configure, test, and debug Mitsubishi Electric PLCs and GOT HMIs, with exposure to VFDs, servo systems, and motion control.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, BOMs, panel layouts, and engineering change documentation using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Assist with component selection and industrial control panel design under the direction of senior engineers.
• Support project execution, including FAT, startup, and commissioning.
• Provide regular project status updates to management, sales, and customers as assigned.
