Job summary

The TIC – The Industrial Company is seeking an entry-level helper to assist skilled craftspeople on construction projects in Mississippi. You will perform supportive duties under supervision, learning to use hand and power tools, read instructions, and help with installation and alignment of machinery.

Responsibilities include assisting with inventory checks, rigging, lifting, and basic assembly to prepare foundations and foundations for equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Willingness to learn and perform basic craft tasks on site.
• Basic safety knowledge and use of hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn to use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align equipment.
• Assist with inventory checks and foundation preparation for machinery.
• Assist with rigging, placement and alignment of machinery under supervision.
• Move and position equipment using hoists, dollies and trucks; basic assembly tasks.
• Follow safety rules and work irregular hours as needed.
