Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Greenville, MS is seeking entry-level assistive electricians to join our field crews. You will support skilled craftsmen by interpreting plans, preparing tools, and performing installation tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities include installing conduit, wiring, and control devices, testing circuits, and maintaining safety standards on commercial and industrial sites. This role offers hands-on training and opportunities to grow within TIC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Basic electrical knowledge and safety awareness.
• Willingness to work in construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Learn to interpret drawings, plans and determine work procedures and tools.
• Assist with installing electrical conduit, welding supports and cable/duct banks.
• Assist with installation of control and distribution apparatus and fasten in place.
• Test systems for continuity and electrical safety.
• Observe equipment to identify hazards and necessary adjustments.
• May pull wire through conduit and connect wiring to fixtures.
• Work with high and low voltage systems.
• Assist with disassembly and repair of electrical equipment.
• Learn to operate electrical, mechanical hand and power tools.
