Qualifications

• Some construction experience preferred.
• Basic ability to read blueprints/schematics to determine procedures.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Good troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing machinery per layout plans and drawings in an industrial environment.
• Dismantle and repair machinery using hand tools and power tools.
• Move machinery using winches, jacks, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assist in assembling equipment like conveyors, pumps, motors using hand/power tools.
• Help construct foundations and set base plates; ensure alignment and leveling.
• Install couplings and bearings, both interference and slip-fit.
