Job summary

The Industrial Company (TIC) in Louisiana seeks an experienced millwright to plan, lay out, install, and align equipment according to plans and specs. The role requires reading blueprints and working across multiple crafts on a construction site.

You will use hand and power tools, measure and verify foundations, torque and align machinery, and test installations while complying with safety rules. Physical work on irregular hours may be required; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• Observe and comply with safety and project rules.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out millwright work.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery.
• Review inventory and prepare foundation for grouting and machinery placement.
• Torque, rig, test and adjust installed equipment as required.
• Dismantle and move machines using manual tools and hoists; assemble and align on foundations.
