Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to provide foundational knowledge of branch operations. You will perform routine duties, respond to member inquiries in person and by phone, and assist with account origination and maintenance under supervision.

You will learn CXone and assist with member requests while maintaining professional service across channels.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or GED.
Preferred bachelor’s degree or CCUE Certification or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
Demonstrates SECU’s Core Values.
Aptitude for meeting people and building member confidence, respect and trust.
Good communication skills, verbal and written.
Good problem-solving skills.
Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Comply with Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of member information and restrict account access to business purposes only.
Follow security and control procedures.
Assist members by processing transactions and balancing cash drawer.
Greet and assist members courteously through all channels.
Handle drive-through and other teller duties as needed.
Balance vaults, ATMs and cash dispensers; verify deposits.
Learn basic accounts opening and SECU products with supervision.
Provide referrals to financial advisory and mortgage services when appropriate.
Maintain records for reports and perform administrative tasks as required.
