Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to learn branch operations. You will provide exemplary member service by responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and via digital channels while handling cash, account origination, and maintenance.

Under supervision, you will complete core training within 12 months and gain knowledge of financial services, referrals, and branch procedures. Regular attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or CCUE Certification or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Demonstrates SECU's Core Values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building trust.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in person, by phone, and via digital channels.
• Process transactions and balance a cash drawer per standards.
• Operate a drive-through window as needed.
• Balance vault, ATMs, teller cash dispenser and coin sorter.
• Assist with wire transfers and foreign currency where applicable.
• Troubleshoot account issues and processing disputes.
• Maintain daily/monthly records and collaborate with other departments.
