Job summary

PFFCU is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Member Service Specialist I to deliver superior service at the branch and cultivate member relationships using our Total Member Connect process. You will support growth goals by recommending products that improve members’ financial well-being while upholding integrity and efficiency.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service with sales/production goals preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional member service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stay professional under pressure.
• Proficient with computers and software systems including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to commitments and leads by example.
• Deliver superior member service with friendly, professional service.
• Handle branch tasks: memberships, loans, account issues, cash handling.
• Protect member information and maintain security.
• Cross-sell products using the Total Member Connect process.
• Use resources to answer inquiries and resolve issues to completion.
• Support branch staffing and present a professional image.
• Assist in ITM, service window or sales desk tasks.
