Job summary

Rehab Medical LLC in the United States is seeking a Patient Care Representative (PCR) to support patients through the mobility equipment process — from intake to approval — ensuring timely communication and accurate documentation.

You will manage intake within 5 business days, coordinate PT/OT/ATP evaluations, and keep patients updated every 5 business days while maintaining confidentiality and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships.

• Ability to work independently, be detail oriented, and organized.
• Minimum 2 - years of administrative support experience.

Responsibilities

• Intake Management: Contact all new patients within 24 hours of referral to complete the Intake Questionnaire and initiate the process for obtaining mobility equipment; establish themselves as the main point of contact; verify insurance coverage; explain the process and get the patient to commit; ensure intake is completed within 5 business days; elevate if needed; document attempts if unreachable.
• Scheduling Coordination: Coordinate and schedule PT/OT evaluation and ATP evaluation; schedule each step within 3 business days; ensure scheduling within 20 days; involve manager if delays.
• Documentation and Paperwork Support: Assist with documentation for the sales team; follow up with physician offices to ensure forms are completed; ensure final documentation is faxed to doctor timely; maintain communication with patients with updates every 5 business days.
