Job summary

Rehab Medical is seeking a Patient Care Representative to support the Sales Team in coordinating DME orders for patients. The role involves facilitating communication between patients, referral sources, and insurers, and guiding patients through the equipment and insurance process.

You will schedule physician evaluations when needed, prepare necessary documentation, and keep sales reps updated on order status.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

• Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process information and documentation to obtain DME for patients.
• Support Sales Reps, up to two at a time.
• Act as liaison between the company, patient, referral sources, and insurance companies.
• Explain equipment, insurance coverage, and payment options to patients.
• Schedule face-to-face evaluations with patients' physicians when required.
• Prepare and send documentation to physicians for approval.
