Job summary

Metric Bio seeks a Medical Sales Associate to cover an active territory including South Bend, IN and Kalamazoo/Battle Creek, MI. This is an entry-level, developmental role with a clear path toward ownership as you prove yourself.

You will receive hands-on training in the field and in the OR, and you will report to the District Sales Manager. A strong work ethic and coachability are essential as you start building a medical device sales foundation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent years of experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to travel roughly 50% of the time.
• Demonstrated success in a prior sales role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Empathy and compassion for patients.

Responsibilities

• Supports the DSM with case coverage, account servicing, and lead follow-up across the territory.
• Shadows OR cases and clinical work to build foundational product knowledge.
• Assists in prospecting and identifying new business opportunities within the territory.
• Helps build and maintain relationships with physicians, decision makers, and clinical staff.
• Represents the company professionally at territory events, with patient outcomes held in high regard.
