The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, accurate record keeping, cash handling as needed, and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients and referral sources.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to four years of customer service, administrative, or related experience preferred; medical front office experience is a plus.
• Must have: valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees and referral sources.
• Obtain patient and insurance information; verify benefits and collect co-payments as applicable.
• Coordinate scheduling of clinician schedules to ensure proper coverage of patient appointments.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient charts and related documentation in the system.
