Hanger Clinic in Miami is seeking an entry-level Medical Receptionist (Spanish/English bilingual) to support front office operations part-time. You will greet patients, collect demographics and insurance details, and coordinate appointments with clinicians.

Key duties include verifying benefits, handling co-pays, managing call volume, and maintaining accurate, HIPAA-compliant records. Knowledge of medical front office procedures is a plus, with a focus on excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 2–4 years of customer service or front desk experience.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office preferred.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license.
• Must pass the Talent Bullseye assessment as part of selection.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees and referral sources.
• Obtain patient information and insurance details; verify benefits.
• Manage multiple phone lines and front desk duties.
• Maintain accurate patient files and HIPAA compliance.
• Schedule clinician appointments and coordinate referrals/authorizations.
• Process and collect co-pays and payments; record cash receipts.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance verifications.
