Job summary

General Motors in the United States is hiring multiple engineering roles to start in January 2027. Positions include Dimensional Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Facilities Management Rep, and Facilities Engineer, with work performed in GM's manufacturing facilities.

Successfully selected candidates will work full-time in a plant environment, contributing to process validation, equipment evaluation, product flow optimization, and facility management across multiple locations

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechatronics.
• Must be graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Must be willing to work in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Dimensional Engineers: manage vehicle fit/finish based on process metrics from customer feedback.
• Manufacturing Engineers: analyze and implement product or machinery designs for manufacturing processes.
• Process Engineers: define manufacturing processes, optimize material flow and equipment usage.
• Facilities Management Reps: serve as Single Point of Contact for facility needs and contracts.
• Facilities Engineers: maintain facility mechanical systems and support engineering projects.
