Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field technician to perform site testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will communicate results to the Project Manager and prepare reports.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of experience, with a valid driver's license. Training and safety certifications will be provided, including potential ACI certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months experience required.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicate with project manager, technicians, client representative, contractor’s representative regarding testing and results.
• Transport samples to the lab and prepare data/observations in written and digital reports for daily submission.
