Sun Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Buckeye, AZ to perform routine and preventative maintenance across the community, assisting with grounds, facilities, and utilities. You will deliver reliable repairs and maintain curb appeal while providing good resident service.

The role requires physical work outdoors, ability to lift 50 lbs, use hand tools and equipment, and the flexibility to work an on-call schedule. Regular full-time employment with competitive pay is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in maintenance experience in apartment/manufactured housing preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred (if applicable).
• Knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains community grounds, facilities, streets and utilities.
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Inspects irrigation, water meters and related systems.
• Operates hand tools and power equipment safely.
• Assists with snow removal and seasonal outdoor duties.
• Ensures curb appeal and cleanliness of common areas.
• Reports issues to the manager and documents work performed.
