Sun City Anthem at Merrill Ranch in Florence, AZ is seeking a full-time entry-level Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining buildings, systems and common areas. Duties include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, grounds work, water chemistry checks per health department, and fire safety system maintenance.

The role supports the Community Manager and maintenance team; requires ability to read and follow codes, and may require weekends or evenings.

Qualifications

• Maintains buildings, systems and common areas to standards.
• Reads, writes and communicates in English to interact with residents and staff.
• Follows safety codes and uses tools and equipment properly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, building systems and common areas.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall and related tasks.
• Complete grounds work and clean-up; pressure washing as needed.
• Inspect pools, water features and safety systems; monitor water chemistry.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform service requests.
• Serve as after-hours contact for emergencies; operate and store equipment.
