Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors in Austin, TX seeks Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across Sun communities. You will handle home repairs, grounds upkeep, and safety checks while delivering excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and are comfortable working outdoors, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using hand tools and power equipment. This role includes on-site duties and potential snow removal where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on homes and facilities.
• Keep grounds, streets and common areas clean and presentable.
• Inspect irrigation, water meters and well systems and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Operate and maintain community vehicles and equipment safely.
• Assist with supervision of service contractors and observe Sun curb appeal standards.
