Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a maintenance technician to support production by installing, adjusting, and repairing conveyors, automation, robotics and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and document all activities in the CMMS in a fast-paced facility in New York.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of experience with conveyors/automation/robotics, knowledge of PLC logic, and proficient Excel skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Basic Excel skills and understanding of PLC logic troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Document all work in CMMS and maintain accurate operating logs.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist maintenance mechanics in two-person tasks and on projects.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify proper operation.
• Analyze production delays and determine corrective actions.
