Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician in Georgia (Ellabell) to maintain automated material handling and facility equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot MHE, and work with a team to meet tight timelines.

The role offers growth toward Skilled Technician/Tech II and requires basic mechanical skills plus PLC/HMI familiarity. The position operates Friday to Sunday day shift, involves on-site work, driving Burlington vehicles, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Transferrable mechanical skills expected.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Basic PC skills and use of handheld mobile apps.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams and electrical measuring.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical MHE on site (conveyors, sortation, scales, printers).
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Perform PM tasks on facility equipment (PITs, HVAC, air compressors, balers).
• Read electrical schematics and use multi-meters/infrared thermometers.
• Use asset management apps to create/close Work Orders with data.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and external contractors.
