Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician to maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment in our Georgia distribution center.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and collaborate with the maintenance team to keep operations running on schedule. You will read schematics, operate handheld devices, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Transferrable mechanical skills.
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Basic PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with simple wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
• Experience with work order management and preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair MHE and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and restore equipment to service.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics.
• Create and close Work Orders in asset management systems.
• Collaborate with maintenance leadership and techs to perform root cause analysis.
