Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician to help maintain automated material handling and facility equipment in our Redlands distribution center.

You’ll use preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting to maximize equipment availability and support our supply chain operations. You will collaborate with lead and skilled technicians, schedule preventive tasks, and apply root-cause analysis to equipment failures, with promotion potential to Skilled

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
• Experience in work order management and preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
• Experience with common industrial tools and basic carpentry/plumbing.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with metal fabrication and welding; basic Industrial Controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MHE on site, including conveyors and sortation systems.
• Demonstrate mechanical proficiency for hydraulic/pneumatic systems and AC/DC motors.
• Adjust, reset, repair, or replace belts, chains, cables and wear parts.
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and motor starters; read schematics.
• Lubricate, calibrate, and clean equipment; follow job plans and manuals.
• Use handheld devices to create/close Work Orders with data.
• Perform preventive maintenance on PIT, HVAC, air compressors/dryers, and balers.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE; participate in Root Cause Analysis.
