Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician in Ellabell, GA. You will maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment, focusing on preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting to keep the supply chain running smoothly.

Work with lead and skilled technicians, validate work by contractors, and participate in Root Cause Analysis. Travel to nearby facilities for parts and may operate Burlington vehicles for site tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Transferrable mechanical skills.
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Basic PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams and electrical measurement.
• Experience with work order management and preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair material handling equipment (MHE) and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Read electrical/electronic schematics and use multimeters/infrared thermometers.
• Create and close work orders in asset management system.
• Work with team leaders to ensure safety and quality standards.
