Job summary

Sephora is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Omni-Channel Distribution Center in Avon, IN. The role performs basic equipment and facility maintenance and supports building grounds under the Facilities Manager. Entry-level position with growth opportunities in a fast-paced DC.

Responsibilities include plumbing, lubrication, and minor repairs, battery checks for MHE, and documenting work. Requires high school diploma with technical training and familiarity with safety and PPE rules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the general maintenance practices for motorized material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of standard maintenance practices (i.e. lubrication, adjustments, set-up, calibration, etc.)
• Ability to operate standard hand/power tools and shop equipment in a proficient and safe manner.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work closely and effectively with others in a way that promotes teamwork.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to be flexible and respond to changing priorities and needs within the operations.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upgrade equipment and facilities in plumbing, painting, and basic upkeep.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motorized equipment including lubrication and simple repairs.
• Check and service powered industrial truck batteries.
• Document repairs and adjustments.
• Provide general labor and custodial tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment to complete assignments.
• Assist in setup and cleanup of company events.
• Follow safety, loss prevention policies, and report violations.
