Job summary

Sephora is hiring a Maintenance Technician I at our Avon, IN location for a full-time, Fri-Sun, Day shift. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and battery checks on material handling equipment, while documenting work and supporting events as needed.

You should have a high school diploma with technical training, and experience in mechanical maintenance. The role requires teamwork, safety discipline, and occasional overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with motorized material handling equipment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training required.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment and facilities in plumbing, painting, and general upkeep.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motorized handling equipment including lubrication.
• Check, change and clean batteries for powered industrial trucks.
• Document repairs and adjustments accurately.
• Provide general labor or custodial repairs as needed.
• Operate motorized material handling equipment as required.
• Assist setup and teardown for meetings and events.
• Comply with SEPHORA safety policies and loss prevention rules.
• Maintain flexibility for overtime based on business needs.
