Job summary

ROAR Logistics, Inc. seeks entry-level Logistics Coordinators for our Fredonia, NY office. You will assist in managing shipments, coordinating with drivers, and maintaining carrier profiles while learning ROAR’s carrier setup and compliance processes.

In this role you will engage in load tendering, negotiate rates with carriers, and provide proactive customer service. A fast-paced environment and cross-functional teamwork await.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Logistics preferred or equivalent experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Email System.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Team Player: Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Adaptability: Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multi-project prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Execute Carrier Setup and Compliance Procedures: onboard carriers per ROAR protocols.
• Driver Dispatch and TMS Management: input details in TMS and maintain updates.
• Marketing and Networking: promote ROAR to customers and carriers through channels.
• Data Management: keep TMS up-to-date with customer and carrier profiles.
• Load Tender Management: route, schedule, and manage customer load tenders.
• Carrier Sourcing and Negotiation: onboard new carriers and negotiate rates.
• Problem-Solving and Customer Service: resolve issues for customers, carriers, and team.
• Cross-Functional Support: assist other departments as needed.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: handle additional duties as assigned.
