Job summary

Rich Products Corporation, a family-owned food company, is seeking an Entry-Level Logistics Coordinator in Buffalo, NY. You will support carrier setup, dispatch, and data management within our ROAR Logistics operations, coordinating with drivers and customers to ensure timely, accurate loads.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (associates/bachelors preferred in logistics), strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics preferred or equivalent experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Email System.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Team Player: Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Adaptability: Able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute Carrier Setup and Compliance Procedures: understand carrier setup and compliance protocols.
• Driver Dispatch and TMS Management: coordinate with drivers and input details into TMS with updates until completion.
• Marketing and Networking: promote ROAR to customers and carriers through directories, load boards, and events.
• Data Management: keep TMS up-to-date with customer and carrier profiles.
• Load Tender Management: route, schedule, and manage customer load tenders.
• Carrier Sourcing and Negotiation: onboard new carriers and negotiate rates.
• Problem-Solving and Customer Service: resolve issues promptly for customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Cross-Functional Support: collaborate with other departments.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: take on additional responsibilities as needed.
