Job summary

Azurite Professional Community is recruiting an IT Technician I for our IT department in our Albuquerque, NM office. Under the direct supervision of the IT Manager, IT Tech I is responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing systems and networks.

This entry-level role provides first-tier support using basic technical knowledge and requires strong verbal and written communication. Responsibilities include basic troubleshooting, documenting resolutions, and assisting with hardware/software

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2 years of related IT experience is preferred; valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop basic technical skills.
• Provide first-tier IT support for staff.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain records and document projects.
• Track inventory of equipment; data entry and record maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist with evaluating hardware/software needs and solutions.
• Support new technology implementations and projects.
• Install, configure and maintain computers and devices.
• Stay current with technology trends and standards.
• Complete timesheets and perform clerical duties.
• Answer inquiries and assist clients; maintain confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
