Job summary

CompDAT LLC is seeking an IT Support Technician to be the first line of defense for clients, handling basic to advanced technical support and working with end users, business owners, and internal teams to deliver an exceptional IT support experience.

The role covers live troubleshooting, on-site visits, and ticket management, with a focus on Windows/macOS, AD, and M365. Full-time, on-site in Harwinton, CT, with benefits including 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of IT support experience (MSP experience strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, Active Directory, M365, and basic networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Excellent communication skills – you know how to explain technology in simple terms.
• Organized and detail-oriented – documentation is second nature to you.
• Passion for helping others and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide live technical support and troubleshooting to end users.
• Deliver a high-quality support experience, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
• Educate and train users on best practices for security, software, and new technology.
• Own and manage support tickets from opening to resolution.
• Record resolutions and procedures in the knowledge base.
