Job summary

MAXISIQ, Inc. is recruiting a Junior IT Support Specialist to provide high‑quality customer service and ensure smooth operation of IT systems.

The role involves remote and on‑site guidance through system configuration and troubleshooting, with interviews for a full‑time position located in Quantico, VA and Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities include end‑user ticket resolution, hardware/software maintenance, network monitoring, cybersecurity measures, backups, and asset management.

Qualifications

• Must have an active or current Top‑Secret clearance. CI poly.
• Associates degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Resolve end-user support tickets, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and assist with computer setups.
• Install, configure, and update workstations, peripherals, and operating systems.
• Monitor LAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, and switches to maximize system uptime.
• Enforce cybersecurity measures, run data backups, and follow disaster recovery procedures.
• Track IT inventory and coordinate with external vendors.
