Trailer Equipment, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Inside Sales Representative located in Byron Center, MI. You will be the first contact for customers seeking trailers, parts, rentals, and service, supporting the outside sales team and learning the business from the ground up.

You will handle inquiries, prepare quotes, maintain CRM data, and assist with listings and advertising. Benefits include paid training, a clear growth path, and a stable Monday–Friday schedule at our Byron Center office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (associates/bachelors a plus).
• Solid Excel skills: sort, filter, and build basic formulas.
• Clear, professional phone and email communication.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Competitive drive and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries, and prepare quotes.
• Follow up on leads and help outside sales reps prospect new customers.
• Keep customer and sales data accurate and current in our CRM.
• Track sales and inventory in Excel and flag discrepancies.
• Update trailer listings and support advertising efforts.
• Coordinate with Parts, Service, and Rental to get customers answers fast.
