Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• Relevant internship or job experience in transportation engineering.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; handle multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of transportation facilities, including highways, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and transit improvements.
• Support Senior Project Engineers across a range of tasks.
• Develop geometric alignments and prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical reports documenting project design work.
