Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an entry-level IT Support Technician in Morgantown, WV. You'll provide first-line support for hardware, software, and applications in a healthcare-adjacent environment, with opportunities to learn enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred, or previous IT Support/Help Desk experience.
• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and antivirus software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Server, AD, Exchange, VMware, IP telephony, and related tech is a plus.
• Experience with PC hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via phone and onsite for hardware, software, and application issues
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve computer and technology-related problems
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT personnel when necessary
• Log, track, and document support requests using a help desk ticketing system
• Perform diagnostics to identify the source of technical issues
• Install, configure, and test computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions
• Deliver exceptional customer service to administrative and clinical staff
• Assist with additional IT projects and responsibilities as assigned
