Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking an entry-level interior design team member to support a large Mayo Clinic healthcare facility project in Chicago. You will assist across all project phases under design leadership, including documentation and FF&E work.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master’s in Interior Design/Interior Architecture, a strong portfolio, travel willingness, and proficiency with Revit/Enscape (Bluebeam, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite also required).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design/Interior Architecture required by hire date.
• Strong portfolio and teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Revit and Enscape preferred; Bluebeam, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
• Professional business attire is required for all client meetings; travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist design team across all phases: Programming through Construction Administration.
• Assist with furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) selections, layouts and documentation.
• Develop interior drawings: floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, and finishes.
• Conduct research for finish selections and develop finish plans and specs.
• May visit job site to verify conditions and observe construction progress.
