Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking an interior design professional to join our multi-disciplinary team for a high-profile Mayo Clinic healthcare project. The role focuses on design development, documentation, and collaboration with leadership across project phases.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Interior Design (Interior Architecture) and at least 2 years of related experience; NCIDQ is preferred. Travel is required, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or relevant field required.
• Strong creative design portfolio and communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assist the design team in all project phases including Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration.
• Assist with furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) selection, layout and specification throughout interior design work.
• Assist in design development and documentation of interior spaces (floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, details, finishes).
• Conduct research for product and finish selections; assist in finish plans and specifications.
• Familiarize with building and life safety codes and their application to Interior Design work.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials and computerized renderings.
• Produce drawings and support functions within project time, cost and quality constraints.
• Follow CannonDesign drawing standards and assist in material selection and library management.
