Job summary

The CannonDesign team in St. Louis is seeking an experienced interior designer to join a multi-disciplinary project focused on a Mayo Clinic healthcare facility.

The role supports senior leadership across all phases, from programming to construction administration, and involves site visits and client interactions. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design with at least 4 years of related experience and proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office,

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or relevant field required.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Current NCIDQ certification is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Interior Designer and/or Project Manager with the execution of the project goals across all phases.
• Assist in the development of the design including planning and three-dimensional studies.
• Independently assist in design development and documentation of interior spaces.
• Provide support with furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) selection, layout and specifications.
• Produce drawings in conformance with project time, cost and quality constraints.
• Identify, research and apply building and life safety codes to interior design work.
• Prepare renderings and other presentation materials.
• Follow CannonDesign drawing standards.
• Participate in client meetings with Senior Interior Designer.
• Participate in construction administration activities including site visits and punch lists.
• Mentor less experienced interior design staff.
• Actively participate and promote design quality.
• Understand proper application of materials.
• May perform other duties as required.
