Actalent seeks a Laboratory Analyst to analyze medical and specialty gases for impurities and product quality using GC, FTIR, and CO analyzers. You will operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and document results in LIMS.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (or 2+ years in an analytical lab), attention to detail, safe handling of hazardous materials, and the ability to work rotating shifts with GMP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or 2+ years in analytical lab.
• Experience with gas chromatography, FTIR, and CO analyzers preferred.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials and rotate shifts.
• Attention to detail and safe handling of materials.
• Familiarity with LIMS, GMP, and gas-mixture preparation beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze gases for impurities and product quality using GC, FTIR, and CO analyzers.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Prepare gas mixtures and test raw materials and finished products.
• Process cylinders for shipment and document results in LIMS.
• Follow safety, quality, and regulatory procedures.
