Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics in Taylor, TX is seeking a Chemist I to join the Laboratory & Analysis team. The role involves performing Analyst III duties, developing new analytical methods, repairing instruments, and maintaining lab equipment.

Required BS or MS in Engineering, Chemistry, or similar science with relevant experience; proficiency with LIMS, Pilgrim, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected. On-site role with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Chemistry, or Similar Science with 4-5 years experience
• MS in Engineering, Chemistry, or Similar Science with 0-2 years experience
• Proficient in LIMS, Pilgrim, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Capable of performing Analyst III (Technician III) duties.
• Assist in developing new analytical methods to improve the products and services provided to customers.
• Capable of repairing instruments, troubleshooting instrument issues, and resolving analysis roadblocks.
• Secures service needs with equipment suppliers as needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance on lab instrumentation and support equipment.
• Create BKM's and SOP's for instrument preventative maintenance, and sample analysis.
• Provide technical training to other Chemists, Laboratory Technicians, and Service Technicians.
• Responsible for evaluation, interpretation, and verification of analytical data.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of results.
• Primary and secondary review of sample data, ensures proper data entry of analysis results.
