Balazs Taylor, TX-based laboratory seeks a Chemist I to perform Analyst III duties, develop methods, repair instruments, and support instrument maintenance. You will engage in safety practices and quality programs while delivering accurate data.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, Chemistry, or related science with 4–5 years of experience or an MS with 0–2 years, plus proficient use of LIMS and common office software. On-site lab work at Taylor, TX.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related science with 4–5 years of experience, or MS with 0–2 years.
• Good laboratory practices and up-to-date safety training.
• Proficient with LIMS, data entry, and report generation.

Responsibilities

• Perform Analyst III (Technician III) duties.
• Develop new analytical methods to improve products and services.
• Repair instruments and troubleshoot instrumentation issues.
• Maintain instrument calibration and preventive maintenance records.
• Provide technical training to colleagues and support data interpretation.
