Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Seattle is seeking an entry level Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service and repair Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Exit Lights and pre-engineered systems under minimal supervision.

You will use tools, test equipment, document work orders, and adhere to NFPA codes while traveling up to 90% of the time and maintaining safety practices. High school diploma required; valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring understanding of fire life safety concepts and the ability to apply NFPA codes.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for customer interactions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; state certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers, emergency exit lights, and pre-engineered suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot components, document work orders, and communicate with customers professionally.
• Operate required tools and test equipment and adhere to safety policies; travel as needed.
