Job summary

Summit Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service, and repair fire extinguishers and pre-engineered suppression systems. You will use a range of test equipment and tools to ensure systems operate to NFPA standards.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of fire suppression experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. You must be able to travel up to 20% and adhere to safety policies on every project.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in fire suppression.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers and pre-engineered suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and identify faulty components in suppression systems.
• Use field test equipment and tools to complete repairs.
• Document work orders and communicate findings professionally to customers.
• Follow NFPA codes and SFP safety policies on all projects.
