Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking an entry-level technician to assist in running compression jobs, operating compressor packages and related equipment, including rentals. You will provide feedback for operating policies and forecasts for assigned units.

The role requires basic diagnostic and repair skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to communicate effectively. DUTIES include 24/7 coverage, overtime, and potential on‑call rotations in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some knowledge of gas processes and compressor systems preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic and repair work preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Operate compressor packages and equipment in assigned units.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and document actions.
• Maintain 98% mechanical availability with assistance.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and participate in on-call rotations.
• Maintain clean, presentable units and complete required reports.
