Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking an entry-level technician to assist in running compression jobs and operating compressor packages, with a focus on safety and reliability. The role includes basic diagnostic work and potential support across field positions.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to participate in SSE training, and the ability to read and follow procedures. Occasional overtime and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of Kodiak’s SSE program is preferred.
• Some knowledge in gas processes and compressor equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist in running one or more compression jobs and equipment.
• Provide feedback for location policies and material forecasts for units.
• Maintain 98% or better mechanical availability of equipment.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and participate in on-call rotations, including after-hours, weekends and holidays.
• Keep assigned units clean and in presentable condition.
• Complete reports and follow area procedures.
