Canon U.S.A., Inc. in California seeks an entry-level Field Service Technician to support lithography equipment customers and enable cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing.

You will be trained to install, repair, calibrate and maintain steppers and scanners in customer sites, with emphasis on minimizing downtime. This customer-facing role requires flexibility for travel up to 30%, driving, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; AA or BS preferred.
• May travel up to 30%; valid driver’s license.
• MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency required.
• Travel to other US offices/customer sites; some overseas travel as needed.
• Flexible shifts, including compressed shifts, to meet customer needs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under pressure.
• Driving for company business is essential per job duties.
• Lift up to 30 pounds; assist with heavier lifts as needed.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, typing, grasping, and hearing.
• Work in a cleanroom environment with PPE; exposure to safety hazards in lab
• Time-sensitive situations requiring quick resolution of equipment problems.

Responsabilités

• Install, repair, calibrate and maintain semiconductor process equipment to minimize downtime.
• Monitor, inspect and maintain equipment to prevent malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and generate periodic reports.
• Monitor stock levels of service parts and equipment to ensure adequate inventory.
• Provide training and assistance to technicians and may train customers.
• Participate in ongoing technical training to expand expertise.
