IMS Nanofabrication LLC in Santa Clara, CA seeks an entry-level Field Service Engineer I to join our team. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot multi-beam mask writers, working closely with customers to ensure satisfaction and uptime.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, clear communication, and teamwork across locations in Hillsboro, OR; Boise, ID; and Austria. Day-to-day activities include on-site support and rapid issue resolution.

Qualifications

• BS degree in an engineering discipline, physics, or related STEM field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on machinery troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present updates in high-visibility customer environments.
• 1+ years of technical field service or hands-on operational system experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, perform annual preventive maintenance, and resolve issues on multi-beam mask writers.
• Maintain customer relationships and communicate status updates to IMS leadership.
• Collaborate with HQ to improve procedures and address gaps or changes.
• Work with field service engineers to handle escalations and incidents.
