Job summary

IMS Nanofabrication seeks a Field Service Engineer I for Hillsboro, OR, to support the installation, maintenance, and service of multi-beam mask writers. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction through hands-on work and strong collaboration with teams across locations.

The role emphasizes in-person customer interactions, problem solving, and adherence to procedures, with US headquarters in Santa Clara and operations in Austria.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
Completion of U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School and prototype training.
Strong problem-solving abilities with hands-on troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Ensure customer satisfaction through on-site service and support.
Perform technical troubleshooting and diagnostics of complex lithography equipment.
Collaborate with Field Service Engineers and Headquarters to resolve issues.
Report status updates and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
Build and maintain positive relationships with local customers and stakeholders.
